Overview:
The East Coast Series is a string
of competitive Mountainboarding Events held within the Eastern United States.
It is simply a series, taking place on the East Coast. Professional Mountainboarders
have the chance to win prize money, as well as qualify and accumulate points
for the EC Championships.
As an Amateur, you will have the capability to compete and hone your Mountainboarding
skills. There will be plenty of opportunities to ride!
There are "five" Qualifying events and "one" EC Championship. Last year
Austin Robbins of Washington State took home 1st in DirtBoarderCross while
Jereme Leafe of New Hampshire placed 1st in Big Air. Who will be the EC
Champion in 2003?
Series Schedule:
April 26th with a 1:00pm Starting Time (date tentatively
set - weather permitting) - The 1st Annual "IRONCLAD - Iron Man"
Location: Canton, PA (**this is not a Qualifying Event**)
Event: This event will consist of a 2-mile "up-hill" road run
(in full gear, and with your Mountainboard), followed by a 2-mile "down-hill"
blitz of racing...first one to the finish line wins!!! The evening session
will be held at the Cedar Ledge Terrain Park (under the lights). Costume
riding highly encouraged!!!
May 17th - EC Mountainboard Tour Qualifier # 1

June 8th - The 1st Annual "100 Foot - $100
Dollar" Rail Sliding Competition sponsored by MountainboardShop.com
Location: "The Holler" Fletcher, NC (**this is not a Qualifying
Event**)
description: This event will consist of a 100 foot "PVC" rail...which
you will slide in an effort to win the $100 cash prize. The rider who slides
the farthest is deemed the winner! Good Luck!
June 21st - "B.R.A. presents the SUMMER OF
DEFIANCE" (**this is not a Qualifying Event**)
